If the Seven Sisters hike taught us anything, it is that a good day out with good people does something for the soul that nothing else quite reaches.
So we are doing it again.
This time, Cheddar Gorge. Sunday 26th July. Steep ascents, rocky paths, panoramic views across one of the most dramatic landscapes in England, and the kind of company that makes the hard climbs worth every step.
This is a social event first. Come with friends or come alone, either way you will leave with both. All ages, all backgrounds, all fitness levels welcome as long as you are ready to work for the views. For those who want to, there is an option to raise funds for Gaza. Completely flexible, no pressure, just there if it means something to you.
We leave at 5:30am from Whitechapel Mosque in East London and return around 8:00pm. Not a morning person? Come sleep at the office the night before. We genuinely mean that.
Tickets:
Bring sturdy walking boots, a waterproof, layers, plenty of water and snacks, and yourself.
The views are worth the early start. The people are worth the sore legs.
