On Saturday 20th December, we’re gathering for something rare and meaningful and we’re down to the last 50 tickets.
This evening isn’t just an event. It’s an opportunity to sit in the same room as people who chose action when it would have been easier to stay silent.
At our Sumud Flotilla evening, you’ll meet the participants who sailed to challenge Israel’s blockade of aid to Gaza. People who put their bodies, freedom, and safety on the line so that food and medicine could reach those who were being deliberately starved.
You’ll hear their stories directly. Not headlines. Not summaries. The human truth of what it meant to sail, to be intercepted, and to continue anyway.
The night will include:
A panel and discussion with flotilla participants
Spoken word that gives voice to what often goes unspoken
An exhibition honouring lives and names too often erased
A three-course fundraising dinner
Space to reflect, connect, and sit with questions that matter
But more than anything, this evening is about presence.
About choosing to be in rooms where courage is acknowledged, not overlooked.
About spending time with people who refused to accept that nothing could be done.
