I've told you stories of many, many souls.
But today, I want to be direct with you. No stories. Just me, you, and the truth.
Every Friday I sit down to write to you. But this Friday feels different.
This Friday, as you read this, our team is in Gaza. The kitchen is full. The meals are hot. And 1,000 people will eat today because you refused to look away.
1,000 hot meals. Every single day. Without interruption. I need you to sit with that for a second, because I still do.
When I first started our Gaza kitchen, I was terrified. I'm not going to dress that up. Gaza is one of the most volatile places on earth. Supply routes collapse overnight. Access disappears without warning. I remember lying awake wondering if tomorrow would be the day we couldn't show up. The day we'd have to make a call I never wanted to make.
That day never came. And it didn't come because of you.
You didn't waver. You didn't disappear when the news cycle moved on. You kept showing up, quietly and consistently, and because of that, so did we. Every single day. No exceptions.

I want you to really hear this. Every meal that leaves our kitchen carries your name on it.
Every warm plate in the hands of a mother, a child, a grandmother who has lost everything she had. That is you. Your decision to give. Your refusal to forget. Made real, every single day, in Gaza.
I am so relieved. I am so proud. And I am so grateful that together, we have not let them down.
Now I want to ask you for one more thing.
These are the final days of one of the most generous times of year for millions of people across the world. A time when hearts open wider and giving feels instinctive. For the people of Gaza, these same days carry a weight none of us can fully imagine.
Families fasting through war. Mothers praying through rubble. Children holding onto faith with everything they have left. And yet, somehow, their hope has not broken.
They deserve to feel that the world hasn't broken either.
The world is at its most generous right now. Millions of people are looking for somewhere to put that generosity.
Gaza needs it more than anywhere. This is the moment. This is our push. Let's make sure that when Gaza looks back at this time, they remember that the world showed up for them.
One donation today is one more meal tomorrow. One more family fed. One more child who goes to sleep not hungry.
We are still here. Gaza is still here. And as long as you are with us, we will never stop showing up.
Thank you. Genuinely. For being the reason we can.
For the family whose table will not be empty,
Hafsa
