I still don’t know how we did it.
The ceasefire was broken.
The sky was black with smoke.
Every road into Gaza felt like a dare.
But somehow, we got through.
Because of you, hope didn’t stop at the border.
Because of you, families ate in a place where food was never meant to arrive.
Here’s what compassion delivered even under fire:
🟢 450 tins of baby formula for infants too weak to cry. Mothers held them like treasure, whispering prayers you’ll never hear but were meant for you.
🟢 20 tanks of clean water (8,000 litres each) set in places where thirst had become a way of life. Children ran with empty cups, laughing like they remembered how.
🟢 8,000 hot meals served on the same streets that have seen too much death. For one night, smoke smelled like food again.

Oct 2025 Gaza Aid Delivery
That wasn’t luck. That was you.
Every tin of milk, every drop of water, every plate of food. It fought back.
Against siege. Against silence.
Against the idea that Gaza should stop trying to live.
Because this isn’t charity.
This is resistance. The kind built from mercy.
Our women-led teams carried that mercy through bombed out roads, through checkpoints, through fear itself.
They didn’t stop, because mothers were waiting and babies were hungry.
Because compassion refuses to surrender.
You made that happen. You turned donations into defiance.
You turned heartbreak into action.
You proved that even when the ceasefire breaks, humanity doesn’t have to.
And that’s what we’ll keep doing. For as long as we can move, for as long as Gaza needs us.
Because there are still empty plates.
Still waiting hands. Still children who go to sleep wondering if tomorrow will bring food… or fire.
And we can’t let the answer be silence.
For every meal that reached through the smoke,
Hafsa
