I had to read it twice when I saw it. Like… us? On BBC News?
They talked about who we are, why we started, and the walks we’re planning. But more than that, they talked about the heart behind everything we do.
Because the truth is, Forgotten Women was born out of something ugly, women being exploited when all they wanted was help. We refused to let that be the norm. And now, the BBC is shining a light on that mission.

Starving people needing medical professionals to reintroduce food slowly because eating too fast after months without food could literally kill them.
That’s why we’ve adapted everything, sending in hot meals instead of parcels, making sure dignity isn’t the price of survival.
For Forgotten Women, this isn’t just media coverage. This is validation. This is proof that what we’re doing matters, and it’s working.
